Thanks Dan....its the big 5-0 for me today. My youth has somehow slipped away but life has been good to me and I'm hoping the next 50 years will be as good. :gersol:

:bowty: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Herr Ober!

I hope Mrs. Ober didn't let Gunther help with the cake this time. Remember the last time Gunther tried to light the stove.

Its pretty cool when the little ones start walking, the whole world opens up to them because, finally they are mobile, on the other hand its also the time things start getting broken around the house. I remember when our girls were that age, one ended up with stitches on her chin and the other on the forehead. Both were toddling accidents, its funny when I think about it because when I was that age I ended up with stitches in my chin from a fall too. Were a bunch of klutzes. Glad your enjoying being a grandfather Curt. :D

Yeah - enjoying these moments all the time!

I have two new additions myself - just a little behind yours Curt. Twin girls - so different. One is just about walking - motivated and driven like her mom and will be going a million miles an hour all the time - you can just tell. I keep telling them - when she starts walking - your in real trouble - having fun as a grandparent - and they know they're in trouble - but can't wait for the experience. The other laid back, like her dad, but very observant and also more drama like, sensitive - girlish - you can sense that too. Soooo different - its fun to watch. But yeah those bumps and bruises are unavoidable once they start running around. "you're alright - brush it off" ..... "keep going" -

Parents --- you all know!
