Fortunately there is tons of fan based scenarios that are far more balanced than the FFG created ones. Apparently 8/10 scenarios included with the base set are pretty much unwinnable for one side or the other. Still i am looking forward to trying this game out when it show in the mail next week.

We found the same thing but we never located these "Fan based scenarios". Any links

....and do you find it a bit clunky to play after AAM?

Just in my FLCS and they had a used Tides of Iron for $50, but I think A&AM has me set tactically... They did have a revised A&A Board Game and A&A: Pacific...

I bought the expansion maps set to get more AAM maps. They will provide reasonable extra battlefields. I'll report when I actually use them
