Re: Dano's 15mm tank stowage kit give-away. PIX

Okay, so 5.5 months ago you guys sent me the stowage. Here's what I did with some of it. I present, in its finished form, my Flames of War Late War Panzerkompanie Motorcycle Recon Platoon. My motley crew of scouts have two BMWs (AAM) a Kettenrad (AAM) a captured Universal Carrier (AAM) and a Kubelwa...

Re: Relief Column For-warrrd! Tourney RESULTS!

That is interesting. I wonder why there was such a point difference for the Interdiction Builds. After discussing some of the tactical issues with you over our PBP games, I expected the difference to be larger in favor of the Interdiction builds. I was surprised that it was so close as to be statis...

Re: Relief Column For-warrrd! Tourney RESULTS!

Entek has been kind enough to PBP with me so I could try out my sample builds. We've been discussing the tournament designs and our discussions drove me to generate one more statistic:

Escort build victories averaged 93 VPs per victory

Interdiction builds averaged 104 VPs per victory

Re: Relief Column For-warrrd! Tourney RESULTS!

there was a penalty for not playing at least 5 rounds, but with 50 minutes to play, that was tough!!! maybe 10 point bonus for each round you play up-to 50 points, instead of loosing 50 points if you don't complete 5 rounds. or maybe a four round minimum. dano, I think you're confusing your SBG AAM...

Re: Relief Column For-warrrd! Tourney RESULTS!

love the breakdown of the wins by map and other analysis. Thanks Ace! It may be self-evident, but the data analysis by map was important to me because with players playing four games on 6 different maps with two different roles, their was probably a pretty real bias. If a player wound up by chance ...

Re: Least Used Piece in your Collection?

The Italian LMG...was it really THAT bad historically? I know it was bad, but I think if they were armed with long bows, they would be more effective! You are not kidding! That thing against 5/5 DEF infantry - you might as well be throwing rocks! As for your question... so many to choose from. I th...

Re: Your favorite WWII battles?

In fact I've always though Britain was one of the most impressive countries in WWII. They had a small army compared to other countries, but they had many allies around the world, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. THe stood alone against the Nazis, and won. +1 They kept calm and carried on, for su...
