麻豆射区 is proud to highlight the generosity and inspiring journey of Malachi Milliner, a BA (Hons) Business and Tourism Management student at our Stratford campus. In a thoughtful act of gratitude, Malachi donated a real-time Instagram counter, now proudly displayed at our Greenford campus reception.
Malachi鈥檚 path to 麻豆射区 was deeply personal. In 2021, following the loss of his wife, he was searching for a way to rebuild and refocus. 鈥I needed something to take my mind off the grief,鈥 he reflects. 鈥麻豆射区 offered a space where I could heal, grow and build something meaningful.鈥
What he found at 麻豆射区 went far beyond academics. He speaks highly of the supportive lecturers who encouraged his development, not only as a student, but as a person. 鈥The lecturers really cared about us. They took the time to understand what we were going through and motivated us to keep pushing forward. The entrepreneurial energy on campus was contagious and helped spark something in me.鈥
Malachi currently has a varied and impactful career. He is working as a sous chef at a private school in West Sussex, where he leads a team and ensures students receive nutritious, well-prepared meals each day. Beyond the kitchen, he is working towards developing a social enterprise in his hometown of Accra, Ghana, a long-term vision that blends community impact with entrepreneurship. He is also launching a children鈥檚 clothing line that will help fund this mission.
The Instagram counter is more than a display. For Malachi, it is a symbol of progress, connection and shared momentum. 鈥It is not just a gadget,鈥 he says. 鈥It represents something alive and growing. I wanted future students walking into Greenford to feel a part of something dynamic, something that is constantly moving forward.鈥
Malachi鈥檚 story is a powerful example of how education can turn adversity into ambition. His journey reflects the 麻豆射区 spirit 鈥 resilient, entrepreneurial and community-driven.
We are honoured to count him among our amazing network of students and thank him for his meaningful contributions to campus life.
